After being on vacation for a week, I stepped on the scale for the first time yesterday. Even though I thought I was being careful, it’s clear that I didn’t make good choices while on vacation. First and foremost, I wasn’t tracking my calories. Secondly, I didn’t get as much exercise as I might have liked, both due to poor weather, knee problems, and apathy. But, I’m not going to beat myself up. It’s time to get back on the horse and be the positive change I’d like to be.
- No more than 2 alcoholic drinks per day. Ideally 0 during the week.
- More seafood, less meat.
- More salads and veggies, less bread and potatoes.
- More movement, less sitting.
