Visualizing the Year

Fall is here.  Leaves are falling.  The sun is rising later and fading earlier.

Crunch time.  Fall always seems to be compressed. As if there is no way I can get everything done that needs to be done. As if there is always something planned on the weekend. As if there is no end in sight until January, after the holidays.

If you were to ask me to draw a picture of the year, it would be an oval.  The fall and spring being the shortened segments.  January at the bottom, July at the top.

How do you view the year?
