I’ve been a bit frazzled lately, and spent some time writing (actually on paper) last night. At the end I came up with “things to do to gain more perspective and be happier.” These are not in any order other than the one in which they occurred to me.
- Write down my thoughts as a mechanism for self examination.
- Turn off the radio in the car and the TV at home to get more quiet time.
- Spend more time playing with Mr. Grey.
- Read a poem every day and think carefully about its meaning.
- Tell TKD that she is the love of my life.
- Drink more water instead of beer or whisky.
- Eat more fruit, veggies and grains — less meats and fats.
- Walk everyday for at least 30 minutes.
- Practice yoga in the evening.
- Sleep in once in a while in stead of getting up and running the race.
- Slow down instead of speeding up.
- Call a friend during the week.
hmm, I might need to print this out and edit it for my own use!
