I got out of QoS class early to day, which was nice since the weather was beautiful. After spending an hour on the phone with Home Depot (yes the Saga continues, yes they screwed it up again), we decided to head into Annapolis for some lunch. It was 3 PM at this point.
We took Mr. Grey to Davis’ Pub in Eastport and TKD and I had crab cakes. Now, Davis’ is out of the way and worth it. Its a little neighborhood pub that pretty much only locals go to (we’re kind of local). They have good food that’s not too expensive and they sit on a street that has views of the old Eastport harbor. They also have outdoor seating, which rocks.
Mr. Grey had a good time. As, usual he tried to grab my beer and my food. Here’s a shot of the two of us at Davis’ pub.
I sent the picture to our friends Shawn and Andy, and they called asking us to stop by for beer. We rolled over to Shawn and Andy’s place and had a few beers while we watched Mr. Grey and their daughter Erin learn how to interact with each other. It was entertaining. Mr. Grey liked their dog, Maddie a great deal.
These spur of the moment get togethers are the best. No agenda, no plan, nothing but hanging out with good friends.
