12 Things To Do

I’ve been a bit frazzled lately, and spent some time writing (actually on paper) last night.  At the end I came up with “things to do to gain more perspective and be happier.”  These are not in any order other than the one in which they occurred to me.

  1. Write down my thoughts as a mechanism for self examination.
  2. Turn off the radio in the car and the TV at home to get more quiet time.
  3. Spend more time playing with Mr. Grey.
  4. Read a poem every day and think carefully about its meaning.
  5. Tell TKD that she is the love of my life.
  6. Drink more water instead of beer or whisky.
  7. Eat more fruit, veggies and grains — less meats and fats.
  8. Walk everyday for at least 30 minutes.
  9. Practice yoga in the evening.
  10. Sleep in once in a while in stead of getting up and running the race.
  11. Slow down instead of speeding up.
  12. Call a friend during the week.
