Been watching the Food Network this mornin with the Gson.  Three hosts on three shows in a row used the term “earthy” to describe their dish.  Now, I’m good with the term earthy, but really, what is it about a Saturday Morning in Spring that makes one want an “earthy” dish.  I want “earthy” food in the fall not the spring.  Spring demands “crisp,” or “clean”.  Maybe I just haven’t had enough caffeine.
